Before I took my intro photography class in college, I used to think Macro photography was amazing. Then I got more into fine art, street art, and people. So I kinda forgot about it. Yesterday however, I saw something on the internet that brought it back to my attention, and today I had a little free time, peacock feathers to spare, and I knew the dying floral arrangement in the kitchen was still beautiful.
My older brother. I shot this in 2K9 before I really knew anything about photography. I bought some seamless paper on a whim and rocked out a make shift studio in my apartment in the Central West End in St. Louis. I think he rocks this —what a pro. As for the caption, someone once told him he "has the chops" and now it's a joke between us. Totally works with this one.
I decided to take a picture in this little pink pool chair before leaving it on the side of the street so god-knows-who will pick it up. I hope it finds a good home.
I'm wearing one of my favorite T-shirts from a radio station back in STL, MO — KSHE 95 taught me how to rock. I salute them. Sweet Pea is the pig mascot, so yeah. . . they rock.
Last time I saw this one was in Spain five years ago. Lost time is really getting to me. She is lovely and I miss her. . . Here we are reunited, playing in Chris Burden's "Urban Light" @LACMA
This is one of my all-time favorite songs which inspired this picture, as well as most things I do in my life.
